Junior Product Manager
Beauty & Home
We are OrangeCreatives.eu and we develop and design turn-key concepts and brands for clients, which are both high-end and mass market retailers and brand-owners. We are experts in the field of beauty and home care. You can find our products in stores across Europe.
We are growing fast and are therefore looking for new colleagues as an extension to the team! We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm about consumer products, is eager to learn and likes working in an energetic, hands-on team.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is commercially aware and can develop a product independently from A to Z. Someone who has the eagerness and the ability to think beyond the current projects - i.e. what will be next. Someone who is solution driven, structured and certainly stress resistant.
Of course you work independently and you can quickly switch & connect in complex situations. You have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and have an eye for detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture. You are analytical and can translate the numbers and insights into actions.
We are looking for someone with experience as a buyer, category manager, product manager and/or knowledge with the purchasing process within retail or on the manufacturer side. Expertise in the product development process and affinity with beauty and personal care are requirements.
What do you do exactly?
Reporting to the Product manager, you drive the development and pre production process with all parties involved (sales, manufacturing, design, quality, logistics). From idea to final launch, each component is delivered on time, on target and within budget. This you do for many different projects at the same time - while retaining control and communicating to the multidisciplinary team.
You manage the maintenance, re-launch and extension of products on an ongoing basis. And you support the product manager in execution for complex projects. You contribute to the long term planning for the different clients and branded clients.
Research into competition and consumers, external and internal analysis, product quality and consumer tests and other business related analysis are part of the result areas. And translating this into presentable actions and improvements of the different categories.
What are our requirements?
You have minimum 3-5 years experience with relevant experience in product development or relevant experience in the cosmetics (or FMCG) industry.
You have a Bachelor/University degree (e.g. business administration, commercial economics, hotelmanagement).
You are commercially minded, results-oriented, and have good numerical insight.
You are fluent in English. Dutch and other languages are a plus.
You are easy going, very communicative and an absolute team player!
You have a passion for beauty and home, following latest industry trends influencers, and an interest in its wider culture.
What do we offer?
A super nice job in a rapidly growing beauty business.
A competitive salary, depending on work experience and work level.
Good fringe benefits.
A place where you can grow and you can develop initiatives!
Many products and samples. (we must of course test all products ...)
Where are we?
Our office is in Naarden. Very close to the A1 - easy commute to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Amersfoort. Naarden-Bussum has a train station, which is 10 minutes by bike.
